Why fill accuracy matters
Purity tells you what fraction of the material in the vial is the target compound. It tells you nothing about how much material is in the vial. A vial can assay at 99.8% purity and hold 7 mg against a 10 mg label — the purity figure is accurate and the vial is still short.

How to read this certificate
Two separate tests sit behind the table above. Identity is established by mass spectrometry: the measured molecular mass is compared against the mass calculated from the compound’s published sequence or formula, and a match within the instrument’s tolerance is what confirms the material is DSIP 10mg rather than something else. Purity is established by reversed-phase HPLC and reported as area percent — the fraction of the total chromatographic signal belonging to the main peak. For this lot that figure is 99.623%.
